The Bulls, at the moment, hold the #5 seed in the ACHA South Region, and with these two wins, could possibly move as high as #3 before the Regional playoff in Columbia, SC in two weeks. The rankings set to come out this Friday, will determine where the Bulls will sit heading into post-season play. Friday night, the Bulls rallied to defeat the #1 FGCU Eagles 6-4. Saturday, in much of the same fashion, rallied from a 4-2 deficit with 12 minutes to play in regulation. Goals from newly named team captain Andrew Augaitus and forward Brandon Harrell got the Bulls back into the game. Defenseman, Matt Meyer, buried what turned out to be the game winning goal with 3 minutes to play. Key saves from senior goaltender Jason Smith sealed the deal and the Bull completed the 2-game sweep. The Bulls will head into Columbia a top #1 or #2 seed, making the road to nationals a bit lighter. Keep it up boys!
